Our ministry
We live out our charism through various ministries. Central among these is the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, where we continually intercede for God’s people. This takes place perpetually in the House of Adoration (Upper Room), which best expresses our call to a deeply contemplative life of prayer in silence and solitude striving to live the life of a hidden soul in the spirit of “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).
Our other ministries include teaching the Word of God every Thursday and Saturday, and leading praise and worship during adoration on those same days. In addition, we participate in a major monthly prayer gathering held
every last Saturday of the month, commonly known as Ssangaalo, where more than 20,000 people come together for prayer at Mt. Sion Prayer Centre where we serve, in response to the call: “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
The congregation also offers counseling and spiritual guidance every Monday and Wednesday at the Prayer Centre, where our Mother House is located. We further organize and facilitate retreats thus helping individuals deepen their spiritual lives, and we lead praise and worship during adoration every Thursday.
Some of these ministries are also carried out in the parishes where we are present.
In addition, we provide psychosocial support to victims of human trafficking, especially women, with the aim of restoring their human dignity. This is done through counseling and guidance, as well as seminars and workshops that raise awareness about the causes, signs, and prevention of human trafficking, in the light of Christ’s mission “to proclaim freedom for the captives… and to set the oppressed free” (Luke 4:18)
